  • Teacher motivation and collaboration
  • Teacher buy-in
  • Accountability (without nagging and micromanaging)
  • Building a school of excellence

Want teachers eagerly raising their hands…

to meet deadlines, take creative risks, and buy in to your school vision?

If you’ve ever…

  • Woken up to 5 texts from teachers who can’t come in today (Food poisoning? Again?)…
  • Dealt with parent gossip about poorly-led classrooms.
  • Wondered, How do I motivate these teachers?”
  • Said, “If I have to ask that teacher to submit the newsletter one more time, I’m done.”

… and thought, “It shouldn’t be this hard. There must be a better way

You’re right.

I’ve trained thousands of school professionals and helped scores of school leaders just like you to build schools of excellence, by understanding and honing the Three Cs:

Clarity

… around the standards, expectations and vision of your school. (Over 90% of directors don’t know how to articulate this in the teachers’ language.)

Confidence

… as in, teachers’ willingness to take risks, share bold ideas, and go beyond the familiar. (You don’t need change your hiring – you just need to change the environment and stop subconsciously demoralizing your teachers.)

Competence

.. as in, teachers’ technical know-how to get the job done. (Most directors assume that because teachers are adults, they have basic professional skills. Nope.)

You’ve already learned that nagging, micromanaging, and 100-dollar gift cards don’t get the job done.

I’ll give you systems and frameworks that you can plug into your school… and make it the school you dreamed of when you took the helm.

Testimonials

Chanie presented a powerful 2-hour session at my Platinum mastermind retreat in 2017.  Not only is she a very gifted trainer and speaker, she is quickly able to diagnose a specific leadership or management challenge, and present nuts and bolts solutions.  She has helped many of my members (owners and directors) in the early learning field be better leaders and I am grateful that she is doing this important work!  I look forward to seeing what great things she will do in the early childhood field over the next decade. Who Am I?

I was a toddler teacher for eight years, including five at New York City’s acclaimed Preschool of the Arts. While working there, I got married, had two kids (out of a crew of 4), and left my teaching job to get my Masters in Early Childhood and Special Education.

When a colleague of mine —  a superstar teacher — switched schools and became apathetic and burned out, I became fascinated by the roles of culture and environment — and most of all, the importance of who the school leader is.

For the past decade, I’ve been consulting in schools, testing what works, and creating effective systems and frameworks that deliver results and have school leaders like you saying, “Yes, PLEASE.”

N
A meet-the-deadline (MTD) framework so teachers submit newsletters on time? Yes, please.
N
A sketch-it matrix that walks teachers through setting goals aligned with your school vision? Yes, please.
N
Strategies for accountability, so you’re not nagging like a broken record? YES, PLEASE!
